Introducing Your Wedding Ceremony
Hi there! I’m Emily Sarks and I am the owner and creator of Your Wedding Ceremony.
Having recently launched the business I thought it would be a good idea to jump on line and tell you a little bit about me and how Your Wedding Ceremony came to fruition.
I have been an event stylist for about 5 years now.. And it all started when I volunteered my time on a boutique music festival called Secret Garden. That quickly turned into freelance jobs for various companies in Sydney like Virgin Mobile, Keystone, Vivid Light Festival and Big Day Out. Most recently I worked for an event styling company in Sydney designing corporate events and weddings before relocating to Newcastle where my little family and I currently live.
How Did Your Wedding Ceremony Begin?
While working for the event styling company I noticed that we were getting a lot of enquires for just ceremony furniture hire. Brides, just like you were after a simple ceremony set-up and that was it.
This sparked a little light bulb moment in my mind…
Why not give a bride the option to hire high quality furniture at an affordable price for their wedding day?
I have always loved the ceremony part of the wedding day proceedings.. two people joining their lives in love to become one, surrounded by the ones who love them most.
Its no surprise really I came up with an idea based solely on making that moment look good!
So together with what I saw as a need for a simple and attractive furniture hire service, lots of hard work and my love of wedding days, Your Wedding Ceremony turned from an idea into a business.
